Cambridge Water House Apartments

30 High St, Waterbeach, Cambridge CB25 9JU, UK – 01223 665341

Good level of accommodation. Convenient location for getting into Cambridge. Everything was nice and clean. Plenty of facilities, towels, tea, coffee etc... Some curious decoration in the cottage. Glass windows in the internal doors and a single bed in the living room. But overall a good place to stay.

A quaint but modernised cottage in a quiet village. Pubs, a bakery, post office, pharmacy, and a few other shops all in walking distance.

Cambridge Country Cottages

Clayhithe Rd, Cambridge CB25 9JD, UK – 07765 153262

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Cambridge- perfect country base for exploring the City. Close to a park and ride and good local pubs. The barn itself was beautifully finished with lots of charming details! We would definitely return!

Wow, amazing stay, thank you! :)

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

You can find excellent very well priced accommodation around Bottisham using Airbnb!

We run an Airbnb bed and breakfast down in Devon (house below) - and we have stayed in Airbnb accommodation all over the place. You can find the wonderful little gems with totally committed hosts and really frightful places which you put down to experience! You absolutely have to read the details of each listing - and read the reviews! We have had people coming to East Quither Farm expecting to take over our whole house -  or our kitchen etc simply because they have not read the description. Basically use Airbnb wherever we go - but we do do our homework!

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation plus Guesthouses

The Old School House Rooms

9 Green Side, Waterbeach, Cambridge CB25 9HW, UK – 01223 861609

Fantastic experience. The room was clean and modern. Decorated to a high standard. The host was great, friendly and helpful. We met the hosts dog (our preference, not always available 😀 ), Isla was wonderful. A great indication of how friendly this establishment is. We only stayed one night to be close to family at Christmas, but would be a great base for longer stays visiting Cambridge and the surrounding area.

Me and a colleague stayed here for a night in between jobs. We were greeted by the owner and shown our room. Not a very large place but it has everything it needs. Very nicely decorated and the amenities were good. My omelette for breakfast was the best one I've had in a long time and both owners really seemed to care about the place and the guests that stayed. I would strongly consider going back with my better half if the opportunity ever arises. 10/10 would recommend.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing experiance. Definitely gonna go again

Shelters are excellent - very warm and have headroom. Only improvement would be having water onsite!

Gayton Farm (Booking Essential)

Clayhithe Road, Horningsea, Cambridge CB25 9JE, UK – 01223 440905

We booked this site due to it's location as we were attending a wedding at the village pavilion. We had a fantastic weekend and absolutely loved the site we didn't need ehu but it is there if you do. There is a beautifully kept toilet block with a generous sized toilet room and shower room with washing up facilities. The field is flat and all grass with more than enogh room for a 5 van site. The owners are friendly helpful and accomodating. All of the above was helped along by one of the nicest weekends ever in May. Highly recommended. A+

Lovely campsite, quiet, very clean and exceptional facilities. Will definitely call again.
